VeloraPeace began with one dog — and one deeply personal goodbye.
Her name was Cherry.
She was my companion for fourteen years, growing up alongside me from childhood into adulthood. She was there through quiet days, difficult moments, and everything in between — always with a kind of presence that didn't need words.
As she grew older, I knew the time would eventually come. I stayed with her through her final moments, holding her gently.
And then… everything became quiet.
Trying to Hold On to Something That Still Matters
After Cherry, I found myself holding onto small things — her collar, her photos, the spaces she used to rest.
Like many pet parents, I didn't want those memories to disappear into storage. I wanted something that could stay part of my everyday life — something that felt calm, personal, and real.
That search is what led me to ceramic art.
From Memory to Handmade Creation
I began learning to sculpt by hand — slowly shaping Cherry from memory.
Every curve, every small detail, every expression was built with care. Not to recreate her exactly, but to create something that could hold a sense of presence.
Through that process, I realized something simple but important:
