Send 3–5 clear photos, including one front-facing photo, so we can understand their features, colors, and expression before shaping their likeness.

Each piece is shaped by experienced artists, guided by years of practice and careful attention to your pet’s features, posture, and details.

You’ll receive preview images to review, and we’ll adjust the details together before moving forward.

What a Custom Pet Urn Actually Is
A custom pet urn is not chosen from a catalog. It is made from photographs of your dog or cat, with each piece shaped by hand in clay.
That is the whole difference.
A standard urn holds ashes safely. A custom one does too—but it also reflects the animal you lived with:
- The set of their ears
- The way they sat
- The white patch that was only ever theirs
That is why these urns take six to eight weeks to create instead of arriving in two days, and why they cost more than something taken off a shelf.
Each one is made once, for one animal, and then never again.
What You Are Actually Deciding
Most people arrive here with three questions, usually in this order.
Will it look like them?
You will review the sculpture before it is fired. Up to two reasonable revision rounds are included during the approval process at no additional cost.
What size do I need?
Allow about one cubic inch of capacity for every pound your pet weighed. When in doubt, choose the larger size.
Is it too soon?
There is no schedule for this. Some people order the week it happens. Others order years later.
Dogs and Cats
We make urns for both dogs and cats, and the process is the same:
- You submit your photos.
- We create the sculpture.
- You receive previews at three key stages.
- You review and approve the final design.
What differs is the size. Most cats need one of our two smallest urns, while dogs can range in size from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane.

Once approved, your custom pet urn is carefully finished, securely packed, and prepared for delivery.
Custom production generally takes 20–30 business days, followed by approximately 10–12 business days for shipping. The estimated total time is 30–42 business days, although requested revisions may extend the timeline.

Custom Pet Urns — Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Each urn is sculpted and painted by hand using the photos you provide, and you will review the likeness throughout the creation process.
We recommend submitting 3–5 clear, unfiltered photos taken from different angles, including at least one front-facing photo. Our artists use these references to capture your pet’s:
- Posture
- Facial features
- Coat coloring
- Distinctive markings
You will receive previews at three key stages and may request up to two reasonable rounds of revisions during the approval process.
The goal is not to create an exact replica. It is to create a piece that feels recognizably like them—the way you remember them resting in their favorite spot.
Send what you have. Most people submit ordinary phone photos, and those are usually enough.
We work with any photos that clearly show your pet’s face, body shape, coat color, and distinctive markings—even if they were taken in different lighting or years apart.
If we need a clearer image or another angle, we will contact you before production begins.
Almost no one has professional photographs of their pet. You do not need them—everyday photos that capture who they were are often the most helpful.
Allow at least one cubic inch of urn capacity for every pound your pet weighed.
For example:
- A 55 lb dog needs at least 55 cubic inches of capacity.
- Most cats need approximately 8–15 cubic inches.
Use your pet’s healthy adult weight rather than their weight near the end of their life. This provides a more reliable estimate of the capacity required.
If your pet’s weight falls near the upper limit of a size—or if you are unsure—choose the larger urn.

No. Many people place their order while they are still waiting for their pet’s ashes to come home, and that is completely normal.
Because each urn takes several weeks to create, ordering early allows the production process to begin while you wait.
You also do not need to have your photos ready when you place your order. After ordering, you will receive instructions explaining how to submit them whenever you feel ready.
There is no rush from our side. Some people order within days, while others wait months. Both are completely fine.
Yes. We create urns designed to hold the ashes of two pets, with both animals sculpted or engraved together in one memorial.
Some people choose a shared urn after their second pet passes, bringing together ashes that may have been kept separately for years. Others order in advance because they already know they want their pets to remain together.
Both choices are completely normal.
